Het Park by the Euromast

Het Park is one of the most well-known parks in Rotterdam. The park is located between the Westzeedijk and the river Maas. Het Park is a popular recreation destination for a walk, a picknick, a barbecue or practice a sport. Especially in the summer many events take place in Het Park.

Het Park was realized in de 19th century in English landscape style by acclaimed garden architects Zocher. In the park many one of the oldest trees of Rotterdam can be found. The wide spread park has a lot of green and is surrounded by many interesting places like the tower Euromast and the chic maritime neighbourhood Scheepvaartkwartier.

De Euromast
At the edge of the park in western direction you’ll find the de 180 metre high observation tower Euromast  that has excellent views over Rotterdam. Looking for some adventure? Go for abseilen or tokkel from the Euromast!

Parqiet Rotterdam

In 2016 the monumental former carriage house Parqiet was opened. The terrace of this charming brasserie looks out over Het Park.

In the park several festivals are held like Dag van de Romantische Muziek (Day of the Romantic Music) and the Bevrijdingsfestival (Liberation Festival).

Transport and parking

Het Park by the Euromast can be reached easily by tram: tram 8 (1 minute walking from stop). You can park in Parking Museumpark (10 minutes walking). You can also travel to Het Park by metro: stops Dijkzigt of Leuvehaven (both 15 minutes walking). But notice that you can also walk from the city centre.
