Outdoor markets in Rotterdam
The biggest market of Rotterdam takes place on the Binnenrotte, a former river, that’s based next to the Markthal. With a length of 2,5 kilometer and about 465 market stalls you can choose from a huge range of both food and non-food. Every Saturday and Tuesday and from April till October also on Sunday.
This multicultural market in the neighbourhood Afrikaanderbuurt in southern Rotterdam is offering a wide range of fruit, fish and spices from all parts of the world. Besides food the 300 stalls offer clothing and music, amongst others. Saturday and Wednesday.
Small market on the Eendrachtsplein with biological products of top quality from local producers. The assortiment consists of vegetables, fruits, cheese and fresh meat and bread. You can find this market in the centre of Rotterdam at the Eendrachtsplein. Tuesday.
Another smaller farmer’s market that can be found in the Oude Noorden at the Noordplein. You can expect regional producers and visitors tasting, buying and meeting at this small but fine market. Note that every first and third week of the month there is a bigger edition of the Oogstmark. Saturday
