The Fenix Food Factory is situated on the peninsula Katendrecht in the southern part of Rotterdam. The Fenix Food Factory is an organic street-food market in a former warehouse.
It’s a lovely informal market hall with food stalls and some small shops.
The Fenix Food Market is a progressive concept selling selfmade products. From fresh bread from Jordy’s Bakery, selfmade sausages, creamy spicy cheeses to Rotterdam beers from the brewery Kaapse Brouwers. The meals are made directly and can be eaten inside or outside. The latter very recommendable with sunny days. The terrace has great views over the river, the harbour halls and the high-rise buildings of Wilhelminapier.
The Fenix Food Factory can be found at the feet of the Rijnhavenbrug, a bridge that connects Wilhelminapier with Katendrecht. Also check out the adjacent Deliplein in Katendrecht for some fine quality restaurants.
