The park is located between the Westzeedijk and the river Maas. Het Park is a popular recreation destination for a walk, a picknick, a barbecue or practice a sport. Especially in the summer many <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cityrotterdam.com\/en\/events-calendar-rotterdam\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">events<\/a> take place in Het Park.<\/p>\n<p>Het Park was realized in de 19th century in English landscape style by acclaimed garden architects Zocher. In the park many one of the oldest trees of Rotterdam can be found. The terrace of this charming brasserie looks out over Het Park.<\/p>\n<h4>Festivals and evenements in Het Park<span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n<p>In the park several <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cityrotterdam.com\/en\/events-calendar-rotterdam\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">festivals<\/a>\u00a0are held like Dag van de Romantische Muziek (Day of the Romantic Music) and the Bevrijdingsfestival (Liberation Festival).<\/p>\n<h4>Transport and parking<\/h4>\n<p>Het Park by the Euromast can be reached easily by\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cityrotterdam.com\/en\/practical\/transport-in-rotterdam\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">tram<\/a>:\u00a0tram 8 (1 minute walking from stop). You can park in Parking Museumpark (10 minutes walking). You can also travel to Het Park by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cityrotterdam.com\/en\/practical\/transport-in-rotterdam\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">metro<\/a>: stops Dijkzigt of Leuvehaven (both 15 minutes walking).
